Project Overview
A stage one of a 2 stage refurbishment.
This included demolition of existing bar and restaurant facilities and construction of an entirely new floor, walls, fixtures and fittings.
The remodelling of the private diningroom, a new staircase and balustrading.
Challenges
Working in a live site, for main part of the project whilst the downstairs traded business as usual. The co-ordination of designers trades and suppliers into the main construction programme.
Success factors
A completed restaurant handed over on time. Minimising downtime through condensed programme meant continued trading.
Value Added
The restaurant recognised a higher than expected increase in clients as a result of the works. Dining went on uninterrupted throughout project.
