Project Strategy engaged Girvan Waugh on behalf of Mirvac to complete work to this Heritage building.
Starting with remedial works as part of the project which required detailed and in depth project methodology and execution plus multiple design changes which enabled Coles to remain fully operational throughout the whole process.
During the early stages of demolition undocumented in ground works such as cantilevered concrete footings, rock, concrete storm water pit, steel column base plates required Girvan Waugh to collaborate with engineers to over come design elements and deliver the best fit for purpose solution for Mirvac.
Working closely with all stakeholders to finalise the design for the land based amenities for The Birkenhead Marina with the intended outcome to achieve a 5 gold anchor rating for marinas.
